Chicken toast rack in natural

This is a toast rack with a hand sculpted chicken finial.   The base was thrown in a smooth stoneware and fired with a transparent glaze over the naturally speckled clay.
My functional stoneware pieces are all dishwasher safe but extra care needs to be taken with my animal range to ensure that delicate parts are not knocked.
