6 - Large Christmas tree in peacock stars

This stoneware Christmas tree lantern was made by me in my studio in North Lincolnshire.  It is pierced by hand and glazed in a glossy  blue/green glaze reminiscent of peacock feathers.   It stands on a small dish.  It is provided with a battery operated tealight which prevents it getting hot for those customers who have pets or children in the house. 
Approximate measurements: height: 18.5cm
Medium trees are made with 1lb clay
Large trees are made with 1.5lb of clay
Extra large trees are made with 2lb of clay
